Her story
Lissy began her career with a traditional nutrition approach — dietary plans, calorie targets, and clinical guidelines to support weight loss and health. But working closely with clients over the years, she saw that knowing what to eat was rarely the whole story. Emotional eating, stress, and long-established habits often played a much bigger role than nutritional knowledge alone.
That insight led her to specialise in behaviour change, integrating nutrition science with NLP and practical tools that help women understand and shift the habits behind their eating patterns. Her focus moved from prescribing diets to building confident, sustainable relationships with food.
At MualaCare, Lissy applies this holistic approach to support mothers recovering after a caesarean birth. Rather than focusing on getting back in shape, she helps mothers nourish their bodies for healing, build realistic routines around food, and develop habits that fit their new life with a baby — with the same compassion they give to their children.
