Coordinated, not fragmented
Your care is shared, connected, and guided by a multidisciplinary team working together. You do not repeat your story. You are met once, and held by all of us.
MualaCare was created to change that. We bring together a midwife, nutritionist, and osteopathic practitioner in one coordinated online care space built specifically for mothers healing after a caesarean birth.
You care for your baby.
We care for your recovery.
Portuguese and English-speaking mothers welcome. No pressure, just support when you're ready.

โCaesarean birth is major abdominal surgery. Yet many mothers are expected to recover quietly.โ
Nurturing a newborn, managing a home, navigating emotional transitions while your body heals from surgery is a lot to carry alone.
MualaCare supports mothers through physical healing, emotional adjustment, and the practical realities of recovery after a caesarean birth with coordinated, compassionate care.
A space to exhale.
A space to be received.
A space to heal at your own pace.
Your care is shared, connected, and guided by a multidisciplinary team working together. You do not repeat your story. You are met once, and held by all of us.
This is care that supports the whole woman, body, emotions, and wellbeing, with gentleness, depth, and respect.
Many mothers piece together their recovery alone, visiting different professionals separately and trying to connect the dots themselves.
MualaCare works differently. Our specialists communicate, coordinate, and align recommendations so everything you receive is part of one connected care plan.
Your appointments and care plan are adapted to your life, not the other way around.
All three specialists collaborate in every session, so the guidance from one supports and complements the others.
You share your experience once. Sessions are paced with care, not squeezed into a rigid script.
Support fits around your daily life, energy levels, and responsibilities during postpartum recovery.
Four simple steps to supported, coordinated recovery.
A 30-minute discovery call to meet the team, ask questions, and see if MualaCare feels right for you.

Healing after a caesarean birth is deeply personal. Your recovery is supported by a team combining clinical expertise with compassion, cultural understanding, and lived experience.

Annea is a dedicated midwife whose work is rooted in advocacy, compassion, and deep respect for women's experiences. With NHS experience across pregnancy, caesarean birth, and postnatal recovery, she brings clinically grounded and culturally sensitive care.

Claudina is an osteopath and women's health advocate with experience across NHS and private practice settings. Her focus on recovery after a caesarean birth is both professional and personal, shaped by her own birth experience and clinical work.

Lissy is a nutritionist from Cabo Verde, based in the UK for over nine years. With a BSc in Nutrition Science, an MSc in Global Public Health Nutrition, and specialisms in NLP, Behaviour Change Therapy, and Women's Health, she helps mothers build a nourishing, sustainable relationship with food during recovery.
Our coordinated approach is supported by clinical evidence and guided by the belief that every mother deserves consistent, expert support as she heals.
At MualaCare, this is not an aspiration. It is how we work in every session.
โContinuity of care, where a person receives consistent support from the same staff or through well-coordinated teams, is essential for promoting faster recovery and improving quality of life.โNICE Guidelines, 2019
